By registering for the DE-Hub Walkthon , participants agree to abide by the following terms and conditions:

  1. General Terms & Participation
    1. Eligibility:
      The event is open to individuals aged 18 years and above.
      Participants below 18 years must be accompanied by a guardian and provide parental consent.
    2. Registration:
      All participants must register online through the official registration form.

      Registration is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for another event.

      The organizers reserve the right to deny participation without providing a reason.

    3. Participation Categories:
      3KM Walk: Open for students, aspiring entrepreneurs, and general public.

      5KM Walk: Open for early-stage startups and small business owners.

      10KM Walk: Open for incubators, investors, corporate leaders, and government representatives.

  2. Payments & Refund Policy
    1. Participation Fee:
      The registration fee must be paid in full at the time of registration.

      Payment can be made via online banking, UPI, credit/debit cards, or any other payment method specified by the organizers.

    2. Refunds & Cancellations:
      Once paid, the registration fee is non-refundable under any circumstances.

      If the event is postponed or canceled due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions, public health emergencies, or safety concerns), participants will be notified, and rescheduling or alternative participation options will be provided.

    3. Transfer of Registration: Registered participants cannot transfer their registration to another person.
  3. Health & Safety Disclaimer
    1. Medical Fitness:  All participants must be medically fit to take part in the walkathon.

      If you have any pre-existing health conditions (such as heart disease, respiratory issues, high blood pressure, or other medical concerns), you are advised to consult a doctor before registering.

      By participating, you confirm that you are physically capable of completing the selected walkathon category.

    2. Liability Waiver: The organizers are not responsible for any injury, health complications, or medical emergencies arising during or after the event.

      Participants must provide emergency contact details during registration for safety purposes.

    3. Medical Assistance: Basic first aid and emergency medical support will be available at the event.

      In case of a medical emergency, the participant will be taken to the nearest hospital, and all medical expenses will be borne by the participant.

    4. Insurance:
      Participants are not covered by event insurance and are encouraged to have their own health and accident insurance if necessary.
  4. Event Code of Conduct
    1. Discipline & Behavior: Participants must follow the route, safety instructions, and guidelines provided by event officials.

      Any participant found engaging in misconduct, disrespectful behavior, or violating event rules will be disqualified and removed from the event premises.

    2. Prohibited Activities: Participants are strictly prohibited from consuming alcohol, drugs, or engaging in any illegal activities during the event.

      Littering along the walkathon route is not allowed. Participants must use designated waste bins.

    3. Use of Wheelchairs & Assistive Devices: Participants needing wheelchairs or assistive devices must mention it at the time of registration.

      Personal assistants or caregivers accompanying PwD participants must also register separately.

  5. Event Cancellation or Modification
    1. Event Postponement or Cancellation:
      The organizers reserve the right to reschedule, cancel, or modify the event due to weather conditions, government orders, security risks, or any other unforeseen circumstances.

      In case of cancellation, no refunds will be issued, but participants will be offered an alternative participation option.

    2. Changes to Event Schedule:
      The organizers may alter the event schedule, routes, speakers, or activities if required.

      Any changes will be communicated via email, social media, or the official event website.

  6. Photography, Media & Data Usage
    1. Event Coverage: The event will be photographed and recorded for media and promotional purposes.

      By participating, you agree that your photos, videos, or testimonials may be used for future promotional materials, social media, and marketing.

    2. Privacy Policy:
      The personal information collected during registration will not be shared or sold to third parties.

      Participants may receive event-related updates, sponsorship information, or future event invitations.

  7. Acknowledgment & Agreement
    By registering and participating in DE-Hub Walkathon & Startup Awards 2025, you confirm that:
    ✅ You have read, understood, and agreed to all terms & conditions.
    ✅ You accept full responsibility for your health, safety, and conduct during the event.
    ✅ You waive the organizers, sponsors, and event partners from any liability for injuries, losses, or damages that may occur.
