DE-Hub LaunchPad
The DE-Hub Launch Pad Event, held on December 3rd, 2024, marked the culmination of the Empower Abilities program, showcasing innovative startup ideas from beneficiaries. It provided a platform for participants to pitch their ventures to an audience of stakeholders, including investors, corporates, and policymakers. The event celebrated the entrepreneurial spirit of persons with disabilities and highlighted the potential for inclusive business models.
DE-Hub successfully completed its first batch of the Empower Abilities training program, marking a significant milestone with the distribution of graduation certificates to the beneficiaries. Each graduate received ₹25,000 in seed funding, supported by Zero-Code Company, to kickstart their innovative ventures. As a highlight of the event, we launched the first-ever inclusive calendar featuring profiles of PwD achievers, celebrating their inspiring journeys. Additionally, the next Nationwide cohort, Pehchan 2.0, was officially announced, aiming to empower more individuals with disabilities through entrepreneurship.
The DE-Hub Launch Pad Event, conducted in collaboration with TGIC, served as a platform to showcase our beneficiaries’ progress and potential. We secured partnerships with 13 incubators, ensuring tailored support for the five beneficiaries as they set up their businesses within 3 to 6 months. These collaborations provide access to mentorship, resources, and infrastructure, setting a strong foundation for their entrepreneurial success. The event not only celebrated the achievements of the first cohort but also strengthened DE-Hub’s mission of fostering inclusion and innovation in the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
